Way cool

So, we had a sonogram today and the tech decided to take some 3D pictures of the baby for fun. She gave us three. I have to say they are really cool! I had always heard of the technology to do this, but had never seen it. It turns out, you can really see a baby's face while he or she is still in the womb! I was blown away.

I was able to scan all three of the pics we got (had I known we would have walked away with 3D shots, I would have brought a DVD for digital copies). They aren't as clear as the originals, but you can still see a lot.

Pic 1 - you are looking down a bit from the right side. You can make out part of her forehead, both eyebrows, her nose and mouth. Her arm (we think) is along the left side of her face.

Pic 2 - you are looking almost straight on and down a little. You can clearly see her eyes, nose and cheeks. Something (probably an arm again) is across her mouth. Keith thinks she has a big nose :)

Pic 3 - is from an angle between the others. You are close to level, but still a ways to the right. You get another good look at her face down to the upper lip. Her arm or something appears to still be around the bottom of the face.

Once again, I found this really cool! We should see her for real sometime next week, but we'll keep folks posted as we find out.

Peace!
